Dilston Castle
Two ghosts haunt this castle, now the home of Sir Gothos and his beloved, Silver. One. a James Radcliffe, Earl of Derwentwater, was beheaded on Tower Hill. He had been forced to join the Jacobites by his wife, who mocked his lack of courage, offering to wield his sward herself. Both the young Earl and his wife haunt this Castle, the former, galloping over the surrounding countryside with his men while his remorseful wife roams the castle itself, wringing her hands. There have been stories handed down of the amazing events here at the time of the Earl's execution - the gutters of the castle ran with blood while corn ground in the neighbouring mill was tinged red.
Be ye very careful in wandering these grounds, and the hallowed halls, as ye may fine yourself lost in it's dungeon, or face to face with a headless rider. Ye must also show respect for Sir Gothos and Silver, as it is their home now, a gift to them from Princess Zeruiah.
