Nursery
Magic and spirits abound in Blazon Rose Barony, but none so enchanting as the newest addition to the Castle Blazon family. 'Twas on a moonlit evening that the Ghost of DameBlackwolf came to Princess Zeruiah and asked that her spirit be set free. Sorrow enveloped both the Princess, and her dear friend, as she began the incantations to carry out the deed. Although the request was clear, and the desire to grant freedom to her friend was painful, the spell was cast. The reputation of the Princess having difficulties with her spells was known far and wide, but this is one spell that she knew very well. And although the spell was cast correctly, the wishes of the heart can sometimes change the end result. Or so it was on that fatefull night, when the spirit of her friend entered the body of a cherished doll that was given to the Princess by Blackwolf. When the saddened Princess returned to Castle, she walked solemnly to her bed chambers, passing a Nursery that had been prepared for the future children of her and her beloved Lord Luther. Apon passing the doorway, the faint sound of a baby's cooing could be heard and when the Princess entered the room, she found the likeness of the doll alive as could be, nestled in a cradle that was made by her Grandfather, King Phoenix. Above the cradle, a spirit guide was visible. The guide spoke to the Princess and told her that the babe was now in the care of her and Lord Luther, to be nurtured and loved. She was delighted, although somewhat taken aback as to how to explain this infant to her Lord Luther.
And so ye now have the story of this enchanted child, and her arrival in Castle Blazon. The Spirit Guide told the Princess that there would be great and wonderous things to come from this babe. The Princess vowed to let all the Kingdom know of her growth and progress. and with that, the Guide faded into the blue mist of the Nursery.
Gentle people have rocked the cradle!
